
Philip Kopper, founder, publisher and chief editorial officer of Posterity Press, is a prize-winning writer and himself the author of eight books. These include: The Wild Edge, a thrice-published natural history of the beach; A Christmas Testament, a richly illustrated yuletide favorite; Colonial Williamsburg, a portrait of the nations pre-eminent history museum; and Americas National Gallery of Art A Gift to the Nation, the authoritative history of that museum. He has been a reporter for the Baltimore Sun, a critic for The Washington Post, founding editor of the leading public broadcasting magazine, and publications director at the National Endowment for the Arts. A graduate of Yale, he serves on Maryland's Historic St. Mary's City Commission and as vestry secretary of St. Albans Church in Washington, D.C.
